PAYMENT:Make all checks payable to K of C Council 9923. They can be mailed or brought to the course on the day of the event. DRESS CODE:Proper golf attire is required - no short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or jeans. Soft spikes are also required. See course website for further information. CONDUCT:Un-sportsman like conduct, (i.e. swearing or club throwing), will not be tolerated and may result in his/her disqualification from the tournament and/or future events. FORMAT:18 hole “scramble” format with shotgun start. All players will hit their tee shots. The team will select the best drive and all hit from that spot. Play continues in this way until the ball is holed. Record the gross score. Note: those teams with only three players will have one player hit twice on each hole. To be fair, it should be rotated throughout the round. Ties are played off the scorecard beginning with the #1 handicap hole. AWARDS AND PRIZES:Prizes awarded for “longest drive” and “closest to the pin.” Overall winners (lowest gross score) will receive commemorative plaques. WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY:If you withdraw within the week preceding the event you may receive a refund, minus $15 service charge. If you withdraw after that date, you may receive a refund, minus a $50 service charge. If you fail to show for your tee time, are disqualified or withdraw on the day of the tournament, you will not receive a refund. |
